Friday Fun Day With Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week though you probably can guess but we have been walking the dogs too.

My little friend has been round again giving us his Christmas song.

The Wier has been decorated for Christmas.

And Stan is eating his Christmas present.

Looks like he's enjoying it!

This was Tuesday, a bit frosty in the park today.
This is a strange photograph as it makes the lead look really long and Maisie really small, strange!

Everything is quiet as the builders are on holiday.

Frosty in the garden too.

And Stan is here to wish you all a Happy New Year.
Maisie is around somewhere!

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for
"This Week's Smiles" and you can also share your  smiles too.

I'm working on a Birthday card at the moment though it's a bit slow getting going, been slightly distracted Lol!

The crayons on the right are new and hope to get some practice in with those soon.
The Crazy Cats at the back will be used with the new card and the Sheena Douglas stencil.
The exploding box is looking okay at the moment but not sure how long that will last!

Bit quiet today but sure you will understand.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.

Hi everyone just here to let you know this is another project for the Craft Barn and it's now live and it would be great if you could pop over and take a look where you will find instructions for making.

Been working on a Christmas Masterboard and here is that peek again on my desk, if you would like to see more details and how I made this and the finished card samples then pop over to The Craft Barn for full details.

Sorry I know I'm a tease Lol!

Well here's just one of them.

You will have to pop over to The Craft Barn to see the rest.

I would love to hear what you think about my project and any comments will be gratefully received.

Happy crafting,

WOYWW 394 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

Hi Workdesk friends.
Here we are for another Wednesday at the Workdesk.
I am here again to show you:

"What's on my Workdesk this Wednesday".

If you don't know what this is all about then please visit the

Stamping Ground, our host Julia will explain.

So here is my desk for today!

Managed to clear my desk of Christmas cards and been working with Lavinia stamps and that's as much as I'm saying for now.

It's not easy to tell but I have tidied the exploding box! but it is filling up again.  My Misti is in there and some new crayons, not tried them yet. I must have caught this on a good day as the light has been pretty poor though I have to say the skylight does help.

You may be able to see that under the stamped image there are some background papers I've been working on, will probably make these into masterboards. I have to say those colours are gorgeous but what do you think.

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Masterboard Monday.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.

I am here today to show you more Christmas cards made with one of my Masterboards:

These cards are fairly quick to make which might just be a good thing as Christmas is getting very close now.

This was the Masterboard I made by ironing the card with wax paper which resists colour creating a pattern.

This time I also stamped over the Masterboard with a snowflake stamp before cutting the paper and attaching it to the card.

Hero Arts Hand Drawn Snowflakes, so love this stamp!

I built up the layout by adding shiny satin card which had been die cut and embossed, then added snowflakes from a Tim Holtz Thinlits die. The coloured gems completed the design.

If you have some last minute cards to make you may find these useful.

I would love to hear your comments.

Many thanks for stopping by and happy crafting,

Angela x

Friday Fun Day with Smiles.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

I will explain who this is later Lol!

We've been out walking again, sorry that's not me as I was the one with the camera!

We found these which were interesting.

This is the back, yes they are trees......

until you see the front which are all carved and gorgeous.

Love these.

These are found in Goltho Woods.

This little church is all that remains of a deserted medieval village. Medieval Goltho had a motte and tower within ringwork defences, but these exist today as mere bumps and mounds covered with turf. The site of the castle is just to the south west of the churchyard.
Unfortunately it was set on fire and as yet no work has been done to restore it.

On the way home we walked through Wragby and found these at Wragby Maze. They are so sweet.

This is the entrance to the Maze.

And one of our old windmills. There are still quite a few in Lincolnshire.
Some like this one have been converted but there are still some working examples too.

Not the most brilliant photograph as it was dusk when I took it but thought you might like this as him indoors has put fairy lights round the pond.... how sweet is that!

My little friend has been round to entertain us too.

Here he is singing his heart out.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.

And if you would like some more smiles you just need to pop over to see what our other friends have been doing this week at Annie's for

WOYWW 393 # What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday.

I think it's pretty desperate as the 'Exploding Box' is definitely near it's explosive stage so maybe I will have to sort it again.

It's a while since I opened my art journal but just felt in the mood so I've been working in it this week testing out some new stamps by Carabelle Studio.

I know some of you asked to see the cards I had on my desk last week and here are two of them.
These were done by layering stamped images and finishing off with die cut foliage, ribbons and little tiny butterflies made out of left-over Masterboards.

If you have time to drop down one post you will see the Crazy Dog Christmas Card I made of Maisie and Stan xXx

So that's me done for today.

Thanks for stopping by and hope you will pop over and join in the visits around the other desks.

I'm off now to see what everyone else is up to.
Have a great woyww
and
happy crafting,

Crafty Cardmakers Challenge # 179 - Christmas with a Twist.

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Hi! back again to tell you that it's time for another challenge over
at Crafty Cardmakers.

Kim is hosting our final challenge of 2016. We would love to see your Christmas creations, but there is a twist which we would love you to play; we want to see your non traditional Christmas projects. Anything quirky and unusual and not typically thought of as Christmas would be fabulous please. You can play along with a normal Christmas creation if you prefer, but we hope that many of you will play the twist and inspire us with different ideas!  As usual you can enter anything you fancy, it doesn't have to be just cards as long as it meets the challenge and does not exceed the 15 total challenges entered rule!

We are sponsored for our final challenge of the year by:

WOODWARE CRAFT COLLECTION
With a prize of £12 to spend at your favourite Woodware stockist, either on line or in store.

And here is my card for this challenge featuring Maisie and Stanley the crazy dogs Lol!

I hope you will pop over to see what the rest of the DT have been up to and maybe join in the challenge.
I look forward to seeing what you come up with.
 Happy crafty card making.

Friday Fun Day with Smiles

Welcome to all my new followers, hope you enjoy the journey.
Angela here again to show you what I've been up to this week.

More walks in the park.
The strange looking duck is still around. He seems to like it here. Can you see his tuft?

The Kingfisher is back though I apologise as this is not a very good photo as he caught me by surprise.

The work on the weir is coming to an end, not much more to do.

Quite a nice day and all the ducks were making the most of it.

Have a great weekend everyone and
 thanks for stopping by.
